Hailing from Sacramento, Joshua Tremain uses spray paint to create works that focus on crisp lines, the relationship of color, abstract form, and a unique perspective of landscapes in California and beyond. With roots in graffiti, he has carried over many of the ideals and practices of that discipline into his current work, creating vibrant pieces that project a sense of vibrancy and balance. His love for music also influences his work, inspiring everything from the images to the titles of his paintings.
Over the last year, Joshua has shown in several solo and group shows, including at WPM Gallery, Leave Your Mark, 1810 Gallery, Beatnik Studios and Gallery 24. He is excited to celebrate his love for the natural beauty of California by contributing to the scenery of its capital alongside some of the state’s many talented visual artists.
